Carifest Symposium

St. Vincent and the Grenadines, The Caribbean You’re Looking For, can be found in the eastern Caribbean Sea, a necklace of 32 islands and cays stretching from St. Vincent in the north to Petit St. Vincent in the south. Located between Grenada and Saint Lucia, the other major islands in the archipelago include Bequia, Canouan, Mayreau, Mustique and Union Island. Several smaller islands are home to exclusive resorts, while the cluster of uninhabited coral islands known as the Tobago Cays are designated as a protected marine park.

St. Vincent’s active volcano, hiking trails and vast tracts of rainforest make it a great destination for nature lovers and adventurous travelers. Private island resorts and intimate waterfalls beckon for romantic getaways, and connecting with local culture can be as simple as stopping for lunch at a local fishing village or as vibrant as taking part in the annual Vincy Mas carnival that runs in late June to early July.

Still largely untouched by mass tourism, St. Vincent and the Grenadines remains an outpost of authentic “Old Caribbean” charm, where moving at a slower pace becomes addictive and the subtle appeals of island life fill the soul the longer you linger.
